Pre-dawn chorus, the wind and the rain

According to the Met. Office sunrise today in Norwich was at 07:22 (GMT).

So why the bloody hell do the birds start singing at half past five?
Right outside my door. Even when we're being battered by a storm.

They sound so cheery. I sound half asleep. That's because I was
actually 75% asleep.

I live in a meander of a brook and the bird song can be very loud at any time of day. We also get noisy foxes and other stuff at night. You should hear the magpies tracking the cats.
